What we store. Store details you enter; your product catalog; orders and their statuses; customer names, phone numbers and addresses that customers provide in chat; the chat conversations themselves; and payment transaction references and statuses returned by Paystack.
Why. To run your store page, let the assistant answer customers and take and track orders, show you your dashboard, and keep the service operating.
Payments. Card data is handled by Paystack, never by Oja. We only see transaction references, amounts and statuses.
Who sees what. You (the merchant) can see your store's chats, orders and customer details - that is the point of the dashboard. Oja operators may access data for maintenance, support and debugging. We do not sell personal data and do not use customer data for advertising.
Cookies / storage. The chat widget stores a random session id in your browser's local storage so a conversation stays together. No ad trackers.
Retention. Store data is kept while your store is active. You can ask us to delete your store and its data at any time.
